I'm a CPA turned communication coach. I work with professionals and partner with organizations to help employees communicate more effectively, strengthen relationships, and lead with greater impact. Communication isn’t just a soft skill. It’s often the difference between getting results and stalling out.
Why I Do This Work
I spent over a decade in corporate tax, working in both public accounting and industry. I was driven, high-performing, and regularly promoted, but I often felt like working with people was the hardest part of the job. Navigating tension, gaining buy-in, and dealing with so many different personalities made leadership more frustrating than it needed to be. I assumed it was just part of the job.
That started to change when I pursued a leadership coaching certification. Through that training, I learned how to shift my perspective and communicate in a way that made conversations more effective and outcomes easier to achieve. I realized that being effective isn’t just about what you say. It’s also about how you say it and how it's received. That shift in communication transformed my work, my leadership, and my relationships. Now, I help others transform the way they communicate so they can build trust and get results.
Who I Work With
I work with professionals who are highly skilled at what they do but are facing resistance, tension, or missed opportunities due to how their communication is landing. Some are leaders who want to be more effective with their teams. Others are high performers who want to be seen, respected, and supported by peers and leadership.
I also partner with organizations to provide coaching that helps employees navigate challenges, strengthen collaboration, and lead more effectively—particularly when communication issues are impacting performance or morale.
Professional Credentials
I am a CPA with over a decade of experience in corporate tax, spanning both Public Accounting and Industry. Throughout my career, I not only developed technical expertise in tax and accounting, but I also gained valuable skills in effective communication, team leadership, conflict resolution, project management, and client service. In my leadership roles, I coached and mentored my direct reports, helping them build their own skills, navigate challenges, and grow into stronger professionals.
In addition to my CPA license and corporate leadership experience, I hold a Leadership Coaching certification from The Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University, an ICF-accredited program. I am also a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the gold standard in professional coaching. As such, I am committed to upholding the highest standards of coaching and continually deepening my expertise to better serve my clients.
